NORDIC WALKING Often called ‘Pilates on Poles’, this is a great way to exercise and enjoy the great British outdoors. Nordic walking is a great way to exercise and accelerate your weight loss
It uses 90% of the body's muscles and is a great all-over workout
Burns more calories than ordinary walking (Approx. 400 per hour)
Tones Arms (bingo wings), Abdominals, Waist, Chest, Bottom, Hips and Thighs
Ideal for people with knee and joint problems (less impact on the joints)
Suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes
Releases muscle tension and pain in the neck and shoulder region Suitable for most ages - a great family activity.

LEARN TO NORDIC WALK
Nordic Walking is a great way to exercise and enjoy the great outdoors.
The most accessible way to exercise no matter what your age, shape, size or fitness level.
Nordic Walking is based in the natural movement patterns of walking and everyone is capable of doing it!
With the help of a qualified instructor people can improve their health and well being dramatically with Nordic Walking.

Private courses priced at £35 for six 60 minute sessions. Plus One - One classes at £25 per hour.

Some of the Health Benefits include:

Weight Loss – Burns about 400 calories per hour (compared with 280 calories per hour for normal walking)
An all-over body workout using 90% of the body's muscles.
Does not aggravate joint problems as walking is assisted with the poles. Older people with mobility issues or with poor balance and coordination feel more stable and confident when walking with poles. The involvement of the arms reduces impact on the lower back, hips and knees, and therefore makes walking longer distances more sustainable for people with musculoskeletal problems.
Releases muscle tension and pain in the neck and shoulder region.
The rotational mobility of the neck and spine increases significantly.
Poles are a safety factor on slipper surfaces.
Improves mental well-being, can alleviate depression and relieve insomnia.
Increases demand on cardio-vascular system and is appropriate for heart patients as it is an efficient way to increase fitness and endurance. The use of poles gives the optimal training effect, since the upper body is active during walking.

MAT PILATES – MAXIMUM 5 PEOPLE
A method of exercise with slow controlled flowing movements to give strength, flexibility, postural alignment and positive mental attitude. Price - £4.00 per class - £17.50 for five classes.

WEIGH-IN & EXERCISE GROUP
A weekly weigh-in followed by 55 minutes of exercise to help tone,target core area, improve stamina, burn calories and accelerate weight loss. Suitable for all age groups shapes and sizes.
Price per month £17.50

CIRCUIT TRAINING - One hour exercise session which will help tone, improve stamina, burn calories and accelerate any weight loss program. Each weekly class, which lasts for one hour. Also Weekly Weight, BMI and Statistical Measurements taken if required. Price per month £17.50

50’s PLUS EXERCISE CLASSES For Mobility & Fitness

This is an hour session with a Personal Trainer who will give you exercises for mobility, flexibility, stamina and fitness.
Suitable for all shapes and sizes
Price £4.00 per session

PERSONAL TRAINING
A personal fitness and nutrition programme designed especially for you. Whether you have a personal goal, are recuperating from illness or just want to get into shape fast. Target the areas specific to your needs with 1-to-1 tuition, fitness tests, nutrition and dietary analysis and goal setting. A whole lifestyle package!
An introductory offer of £25 per hour (normally £35)

For your personal complete dietary analysis and weight control plan. A full personal dietary analysis of your Carbs/Fat/Protein and calorie consumption for controlled weight management for only £20.
